A scenic, tranquil tribute to Wisconsin firefighters who have died in the line of duty, this non-profit memorial not only pays homage to the fallen but those who continue to serve every day. Memorial Park was designated in April 1996 as the state site for a memorial for firefighters. The park is 7.5 acres of rolling pathways and large, shade-producing trees. It rests on the west side of the Wisconsin River. Whether you come to ride your bike, push your stroller, or launch your kayak, it is an ideal place to stay healthy, share family time, and remember those who gave their all.
